This range of furniture was originally designed and manufactured exclusively for a Company called Durham Pine who were a National furniture retailer with approximately 100 outlets. Unfortunately, Durham Pine had to close its doors in 2005. The Barley Twist range of furniture was on sale from them for 6 years in which time thousands of pieces of this range of furniture were delivered into homes ranging from Southampton to Dundee.
We are the original manufacturer of this range of furniture, and now offer it to you at discounted prices online. The range still keeps all of its original features such as fully dovetailed drawer boxes, traditional mortice & tennon door joints, solid wood tongue & groove boarding to backs of units and drawer bottoms and the unique barley twist detail.
Another feature of this range is the specialised Patina finish. Other plain lacquered and waxed finishes are also available.
